Discovering Transit in Montana

Welcome!  Discovering Transit in Montana is proudly hosted by Montana Transit Information Systems.  Montana Transit Information Systems (MTIS) aims to increase public awareness of public transportation in Montana by providing route and schedule information in user-friendly formats.  MTIS partners with transit agencies to provide information in useful formats, including schedule and route data for iPods and Palms, web pages for mobile devices, and schedule data for Google Transit.

Discovering Transit in Montana is an exploration into transportation options in Montana.  It will aim to discuss getting people out of their cars in this big state.  We think that transportation options - bus, bike, train, and of course the foot - can reclaim our rural and small urban landscape and change our communities for the better.  Please read the welcome post, and by all means, be involved!
